Education
Billions of dollars are spent annually in the acquisition, management, and transfer of rights of way. With the technical skills required for proficiency in this complex activity, IRWA’s specialized education and training programs provide an essential foundation for right of way professionals across the U.S. and Canada in all right of way disciplines: negotiation and acquisition, management, appraisal, relocation assistance, environmental, asset/property management, real estate law, engineering and surveying.

What are INSTRUCTOR-LED VIRTUAL COURSES?
In the midst of the current global pandemic, in-classroom courses are almost impossible to hold. The IRWA has created a new INSTRUCTOR-LED VIRTUAL COURSE option for members. These courses take place on a specific day, with an instructor teaching the material to all of the participants remotely. In this way, the instructor and students can work together, share ideas, ask questions, and learn from each other throughout the course. This is a huge opportunity for our members – and helps us all continue to pursue our education goals despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
